Fahad Fazal has decided that a change is required and has now taken up a different role. He will be playing the part of a sexton(Kappiyar), thus getting out of the image of a metropolitan youth. In fact, he was criticised for accepting only such roles in all his films. He took up the role of an auto driver in Lini Jose directed “Friday”, marking a change in his selection.
“Friday” was shot in the backdrop of Alappuzha. In his new role, he appears as the sexton of a church situated in a small village and the story revolves around the church and people living around the church. The movie is named “Amen” and is directed by Lijo Pallissery whose earlier film was “City Of God”. “Amen” has plenty of music and dance and music direction is by Prashanth Pillai. There will be two heroines one of whom will be from outside India.Read also
